The NY Daily News reports that Senate Minority Leader John Sampson has appointed Ms. DeArcy to replace Ravi Batra, who resigned from JCOPE in protest after alleging that Governor Cuomo was exerting too much control over the State’s Ethics Watchdog.
Besides working at several “white-shoe” NY law firms — Morrison & Foerster, Cravath and Gibson, Dunn — Ms. DeArcy was also appointed to the NYC Taxi and Limousine Commission and was also a “scheduler” for former Queens Rep. Floyd Flake at some point. Hmmm.
